We loved this cottage, it was a little heavenly home (while a snow storm was happening outside) and we felt warm, cosy & safe. Well equipped, and of course beautiful surroundings. Set in Mjóifjörður in the East Iceland region, Sólbrekka Holiday Homes has a terrace. Featuring sea and mountain views, this holiday home also features free WiFi. The property offers barbecue facilities and parking on-site. The cabin is dreamy. It’s a bit remote, but perfect for disconnecting. It has everything you need, though it’s a good idea to stop by a store before your visit. The jacuzzi and grill are a great addition. The view is incredible. We also went on a short hike to the Heljarfoss waterfall. Also we were lucky – we saw a small whale twice.

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ.

The 3-bedroom cottages at Langahlid Cottages all have an open-plan room with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The living room features a flat-screen TV and DVD player. This place was incredible. Everything from the jaw dropping views to the small details, like robes in each room, was over the top. You can tell the owners have put their love into what they do. Best place we’ve stayed in Iceland.

Guests can take in the views of the sea from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Our overall experience was fantastic! The house was really clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The host was very kind and welcoming, making sure our stay was smooth. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to explore. We would definitely stay here again!

It was spotless, beautiful view, had everything we needed and more, and the hosts were very responsive.

The recently renovated villa has 3 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with streaming services and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a microwave and a toaster. A private entrance leads guests into the villa, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and chocolates or cookies. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Wonderful all around i would give 100 out of 10. You will find everything you need and the owner was extremely nice supportive and friendly. We got stuck in storm where we couldn’t go out anywhere that day. He invited us to some hot and cold spa nearby. He treated us like a family. One of the things we will never forget and wish we can thank you enough.

Each holiday home has wooden interiors and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A sauna, hot tub and yoga mats are also available. The property was easy to find, and is very well located for day trips around Egilsstaðir. The house was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. There was a washing machine as well, which was very handy. The beds were comfortable. The area was very quiet, a bit outside of Egilsstaðir, but very quick to drive there. From the open area where the cottages are, there is a short path to a jacuzzi (which was spotless) and there is also a sauna. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the lake views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We can't say enough about the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.
