Quiet area, great location, beautiful views. All accessories for cooking. Hot tube in the terrace. Pleasant host family, we communicated several times before arriving.

Egilsstadir village is a 5-minute drive away. The Hallormsstadaskógur Forest is 25 km from the cottages. Love everything of it, nice view, location and kitchen

Towels and bed linen are provided in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. New, comfortable home with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Lovely views and the property is at the end of the street so very quiet. It has a wrap around decking and plenty of parking. The house is warm, the beds are comfortable, internet is fast, tv is large, and the kitchen has everything you need.

The house in the sleepy, remote village is one of the few accommodations in the area offering all amenities (including a washer and dryer) and the comfort of staying alone. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Overall, the house possesses some continental European flair, which feels nice.

It was spotless, beautiful view, had everything we needed and more, and the hosts were very responsive.

Each holiday home has wooden interiors and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A sauna, hot tub and yoga mats are also available. This little house cannot be called luxury, but it is incredibly cozy. We had the best three days of our 2-weeks journey around Iceland in this place. It is especially well equipped with every little detail to make you feel at home and relaxed. The kitchen has everything one might think of. Small but very cozy bedroom, where you feel like in a cradle and don't want to leave. Thank you very much to the owner who has thought of everything with love and care! Very much recommended!!!

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the lake views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We can't say enough about the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. Cottage in the middle of nowhere, nice connection to nature all around, peace and quiet (apart from the elements, mainly wind). Extremely good views and good chances to see the northern lights when the sky is clear! Well equipped, quite clean but a bit older in terms of furniture. Very nicely decorated though, cozy and very warm inside. Hot tubs are the icing on the cake! Perfect getaway from touristy locations on iceland.
