We had a car so we wanted a property with parking. There’s parking right outside the front Easy check in and check out process. If you plan to stay in the Fuji area and have a car, I recommend this place for groups

Staying at Umeya was definitely a highlight of our trip in itself. Honjo was incredibly attentive and caring to our needs, and told us about the wonderful history of this centuries old house. It is located just minutes away from one of the most beautiful shrines I got to see in Japan, I'll never forget the trees leading towards the shrine! Thank you Honjo :)

So impressed with this property. It’s modern, clean and comfortable and had just about everything we needed. It’s such a lovely place to relax and rewind with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji (if you’re lucky with the weather). The location is slightly far from the main area if you don’t have a car, but the property owner was so kind to hire taxis for us when we needed them.
