We enjoyed our days by simply relaxing on the hammocks, having a fresh breakfast at the water, having a swim at sunrise and taking the canoe to explore the lagoon. Moreover, Edoardo was a wonderful host, very welcoming and warm always helpful with his local tips. Also, never seen such a perfectionist room service. Finally, we appreciated a lot having available filtered water to fill our own bottles.

The villa has an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub. The hosts provided many information before our arrival and waited for us even though we arrived late. The villa itself is beautiful, big, modern and has everything that we needed. We strongly recommend renting it and it’s a pitty we didn’t get to stay there longer!

The location was a very easy walk to the mall and like 10 minute drive to airport. AC units worked really great. Good decor and set up. Easy access. The soaps and shampoos provided smelled amazing!

As two moms traveling with four teenagers, we all agreed this was one of the most amazing places we stayed at in Mexico. The cabana is clean, cozy, and very comfortable, with a beautiful setting that makes it feel truly special. The only downside is that there aren’t many good food options nearby, so you’ll need a car to go out for meals. Other than that, everything was perfect and we’d definitely recommend it!

All units in the villa complex are fitted with a coffee machine. A balcony with outdoor furniture and garden views is offered in each unit. At the villa complex, units include a private bathroom and bed linen. My wife and I spent 3 nights at this Xcalak hotel and I highly recommend it. The cabanas and the grounds are beautiful and the owner, Carlos, and his staff are all extremely cordial and helpful. My wife and I used the kayaks to paddle out from the hotel to the reef and go snorkeling. The staff also helped us to arrange a snorkeling trip by boat and it worked out great. I'm so happy that we did it. We enjoyed many meals in the restaurant, as well as drinking our coffee (they make it fresh every morning and provide milk) and evening cocktails up on the roof deck over the kitchen. The view of the sea and the jungle is amazing. My tip: do bring some food or at least some snacks. The hotel restaurant is not open during lunch. You could go into town to eat, but we preferred to stay at our cabana. The staff lent us everything we needed to make a simple lunch. Go to Xcalak and stay at Sol y Arena! It's a wonderful adventure!
