I spent a magical few weeks at Fare Vahine Oviri in December 2024. The host (Johnny) and his wonderful parents (Nuie Nuie and Claude) immersed me in French Polynesian culture which has left a strong and lasting impression on me. The self contained facilities in the villa were very good. The villa is situated at the water's edge. It was so easy to engage in snorkelling and swimming. I was even invited to partake in a community group canoeing practice session which was memorable. The villa is situated approximately 13km from the centre of the town, in a quiet location near the botanical gardens. There are lots of additional activities available which can be arranged or advise sought by Johnny. Can't wait to return.

La Maison Du Voyage is a recently renovated holiday home in Tevaitoa, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, open-air bath and garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Guests can use the hot tub and the spa facilities, or enjoy mountain views. Breakfast was amazing. Canoeing is possible within the area and the villa offers a private beach area. We loved that we could walk out the back door and go snorkeling. Love the option of having air conditioning and also the ability to open all the doors so it felt like we were outside when we were inside. Great location great stay

Jeff and Tepairu were the most amazing hosts, this accomodation is situated in a beautiful lagoon that we were lucky enough to swim in every night and every morning. Beautiful amenities, an easy six minute bike ride to the local store to fill up on essentials.

The host is brilliant - sends you a Whatsapp with key information before you arrive and is super friendly and on hand to answer any queries. The room is beautiful and there's a private beach, free kayaks to borrow and a games room. We went off to explore a tiny motu which was about a 30 minute kayak away. Highly recommend, we had a great stay.
